‘Into The Badlands' On Verge of Becoming No. 1 Show Soon

With the grand premiere of "Into The Badlands" Season 2 on Sunday, it seems that the show is all set to be listed as one of the top TV series. The martial arts series will be the next big thing after "Game of Thrones" and "The Walking Dead."

Variety reported that "Into The Badlands" has shown an amazing rise in the key rating measures after the premiere. The Season 1 finale aired in December 2015. The ratings of the second season of the show have been found to show an improvement of 42 percent in terms of demo. On the other hand, the rise in viewership marked a 37 percent increase with 3.435 million viewers in for the second installment of the series.

With the remarkable improvement in the number of viewers, "Into The Badlands" has become the number one returning drama for 2017. The conclusion has been made after analyzing the increase in the fan following for the show. The show has been developed keeping in mind the changing taste of audiences. Whether it is "The Walking Dead" or "Game of Thrones," the characters featured in the shows have iconic features. This may be the reason that the shows and their different seasons have been doing so well.

The current season of "The Walking Dead" has seen deterioration in its ratings and viewership while the "Game of Thrones" is nearing its end. In such a scenario, experts believe that "Into The Badlands" will get the advantage because of the different subject it focuses on, iTech Post mentioned.

"Into The Badland" has come in the form of a sophomore season in 2017 with only 10 episodes to broadcast. Hence, the cast and crew have a lot of time to occupy special space in the hearts of the audiences. Above all, the analysts have observed that the show has made a good start.
