People are certainly hoping to get a follow up on "Daredevil" after the Netflix series concluded with a cliffhanger and a major plothole. Luckily, Charlie Cox has confirmed that "Daredevil" Season 3 will begin filming later in 2017. But what can fans expect when Matt Murdock returns from his adventures with "The Defenders"? There are speculations that Wilson Fisk will be back to terrorize Hell's Kitchen and he will be bringing a dangerous new ally Bullseye.

According to MCU Exchange, Charlie Cox was recently a guest on the radio show "Film and Telly Stuff With Luke And Al". The star of "The Defenders" was asked for an update on "Daredevil" Season 3 and Cox had revealed that he will be working on the series "later in the year". This certainly seems in line with speculations that the third season of the Netflix series will air in 2018. But who will Matt Murdock face next year? Could Wilson Fisk finally escape prison and unite with Daredevil's archnemesis Bullseye?

Fans have been speculating that Wilson Fisk will play a larger role in "Daredevil" Season 3. After all, Kingpin had a memorable scene in the second season where he vowed to Matt Murdock that he will go after him and Foggy Nelson. Some believe that Fisk will finally employ Bullseye to kill Matt and Foggy. In addition to that, Elektra Natchios could also return but this time as The Hand's powerful weapon Black Sky, as per CeleBeat.

Matt Murdock's series could take longer than expected but fans will still get to see the Devil of Hell's Kitchen in "The Defenders" this year. The first teaser for the Netflix show features Matt donning the trademark cloth he wore over his eyes in the first season of "Daredevil" as he joins Danny Rand, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones in an elevator. Hopefully, this doesn't mean that Matt will ditch his red suit in "Daredevil" Season 3.
