There is much excitement over the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe flick "Thor: Ragnarok" and it might have a lot to do with the highly anticipated gladiator match between the Odinson and the Hulk. However, fans are also worried about the destruction that Cate Blanchett will bring to Asgard as the villainous Hela. There are speculations that Jaimie Alexander will reprise her role as Sif in the MCU sequel. But is it possible that the character played by the "Blindspot" Season 2 actress will end up being murdered by the villain to gain control in Asgard?

The first trailer for "Thor: Ragnarok" certainly confirmed that Idris Elba will be back, as per CeleBeat. However, it looked like Heimdall was fighting to stay alive in the teaser. This led to speculations that the other Asgardians like Sif could also make an appearance in the much-awaited movie. But will Sif survive Hela's initial attack on Asgard? Some believe that "Blindspot" Season 2's Jaimie Alexander could return in "Thor 3". Unfortunately, it could be a brief cameo because she might be one of the Goddess of Death's first victims in the movie.

Fans were understandably disappointed when Jaimie Alexander was nowhere to be seen in the "Thor: Ragnarok" trailer (via YouTube). However, that hasn't stopped people from speculating that the "Blindspot" Season 2 actress will be a part of the MCU flick. Some believe that Alexander could appear as Sif early in the film before Hela arrives in Asgard. But could she also end up being one of the villain's first kills?

There is hope that Sif will survive the attack on Asgard in "Thor: Ragnarok" but it could also mean that Jaimie Alexander will not be a part of the film. In the meantime, it is important to point out that the "Blindspot" Season 2 star's cameo in the MCU flick is only based on speculations and should be taken with a grain of salt. The third "Thor" film will premiere on November 3.
