This can be confirmed by a scene from "The Secret of Spoons" where Mr. Nancy shows up on a slave ship and informs the confused captives about their dark future. It is possible that the powerful scene will be a part of the trickster god's origin story or how Shadow Moon will see Anansi as he, Mr. Wednesday and Czernobog rides a very special carousel. "American Gods" Season 1 Episode 2 will air on Starz on May 7.
