"Frozen 2" is already in the works following its official announcement in March 2015 and its producer has previously shared how the sequel would make most fans understand the first movie better. Its original movie has widely attracted female audiences since it apparently stars two lead characters that are both female. Most fans have been wondering about the upcoming sequel's plotline and why would they have to watch it to fully understand the original movie. Now, recent reports claim that the sequel will introduce a new villain that will shock all fans.

Earlier reports from Celebeat suggest that Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel and Josh Gad are reprising their roles in the upcoming "Frozen 2" movie as Anna, Elsa and Olaf. "Now that we've been involved in it for awhile, what's exciting is it feels like it builds on the first movie. You understand things better in the first movie after you've seen the sequel," producer Peter Del Vecho told Entertainment Weekly. The producer also said that the plotline can change anytime while they are in production, leaving fans to speculate that there could be a twist that will be revealed in the upcoming sequel.

Theories have it that Elsa will be the new villain in "Frozen 2" and her sister, Anna will soon unleash her own super powers, which will be used to defeat the former. Some fans suggest that Anna's power would be linked to fire as an opposite to Elsa's icy powers. As predicted by some experts, the upcoming sequel is scheduled to hit theaters in 2019, specifically on Nov. 27.

"Frozen 2" star Kristen Bell confirmed through her official Twitter account a few days ago that the forthcoming sequel is coming out in 2019. "Quick weather forecast from your favorite Disney princess' sister: Theaters are gonna get Frozen on November 27, 2019! Woo Hoo!!!!" reads her post.

Powerhouse singer Idina Menzel, who plays the role of a troubled Princess Elsa in "Frozen 2," also posted on her social media confirming the sequel's release date. Josh Gad as Olaf has also hyped many fans and asked everyone to mark their calendars.
