Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon's critically acclaimed "Rick and Morty" has been one of the most popular TV series since it premiered in December 2013. The creators surprised all fans that have been dying to see the series again, when its third season debuted on April 1. Most fans thought that it was an April Fool's joke but apparently, it turned to be real, which delighted everyone. As the grandpa and grandson duo continues to soar high in the small screens, many fans are now requesting for a crossover with another popular series.

It is still unclear when would "Rick and Morty" season 3 episode 2 titled "Rickmancing The Stone" air but it is expected to in summer. Celebeat reports that the episode titles of the third season are inspired by the different famous movies. Episode 1 is titled "The Rickshank Redemption" from the movie "The Shawshank Redemption." Now, it appears that fans have planned another fun idea for the animated science series, which is a crossover between the popular series "Family Guy."

Over on Reddit, redditor Tinnerino created an impressive and fun crossover between "Rick and Morty" and "Family Guy" where Rick Sanchez is dealing with Stewie Griffin. The scene that he created shows what happened following Stewie's travel to Rick's universe in an attempt to steal Kalaxian crystals. Rick goes after them and shoots Brian using a laser gun but finish off the showdown by using his portal gun.

In his post, the redditor explained that he cut out some scenes in "Rick and Morty" that features Rick then placed them into a scene in "Family Guy." "Cutting everything out is like one of the most tedious and boring things I can think of," Tinnerino wrote. The crossover looks absolutely real, which leads fans to request the creators to have a real crossover with Seth MacFarlane's animated series.

It can be recalled that "Rick and Morty" creators actually released a dark couch gag with "The Simpsons" and fans expected that it might just happen in the near future but it didn't. With the recent crossover creation of a fan, everyone is now wondering if the creators can do this soon. Check out the video below!
