Although critics say that it lacks story and character development, it has captured the hearts of many fans, leading the series to be one of the best-selling manga in Japan. It has also received several awards including the 2009 Kodansha Manga Award and was also named Best Comedy Manga. With the recent explosives that happened in the storyline, the creator is reportedly mapping out the last few chapters of the manga series.

Anime News Network reports that the "Fairy Tail" creator has revealed that the manga's end is almost at hand and is expected to end the popular series in two more volumes. It is said that he is planning on a new project and has been looking forward to start a new story. Fans might be sad with the manga series' impending end. However, knowing how Mashima impresses all fans and critics, it is already expected that he will bring more explosives on the infamous manga series.

Yonkou Productions has shared on Twitter a translation of the "Fairy Tail" creator's letter, giving fans more understanding of his popular work. He also stated that he would feel empty once the manga series ends but expresses his excitement about his new project that he has laid out. He also thanked all fans for the support he has received and promised another interesting and exciting new work soon.

Meanwhile, "Fairy Tail" chapter 536 spoilers reveal that with Lucy's efforts in rewriting the Book of E.N.D, it might lead Natsu acquire a new fire magic form. It is said that this new form can put an end to his immortal brother Zeref. However, other experts also suggest that Zeref will also unleash the same powerful magic that can kill Natsu once again with no chances of resurrection.
