Jamie Dornan Confirms Christian Grey Similarities, Dakota Johnson 'Fifty Shades Freed' Co-Star Has Sadistic Tendencies?

Jamie Dornan might seem like a really cool guy (albeit a devastatingly good-looking one) but the "Fifty Shades Freed" actor has confirmed that he has a lot in common with Christian Grey. Does this mean that Dakota Johnson's "dream partner" actually has some sadistic tendencies that he developed while working on "Fifty Shades of Grey" and "The Fall"?

There is little doubt that Jamie Dornan has done a great job in bringing Christian Grey to life in the first two adaptations of E.L. James' books (the third film is due out next year). Some fans even believe that Dornan is the ideal actor to play the sexy businessman than Charlie Hunnam, who was originally called in to play Christian. As it turns out, Dakota Johnson's "Fifty Shades Freed" co-star may have some similarities with the character he portrays, but not because he is also a sadist.

According to Belfast Telegraph, Jamie Dornan admitted that he found a great way to make Christian Grey more like an actual human being in "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed". The actor revealed that he decided to include some of his personal quirks into his performance as Ana Steele's fiance (and soon to be husband) in the new films.

"The version of [Christian Grey] that we see in the second and third films is much closer to me and has more elements of me - as Jamie - going into it, which I was more comfortable with," Jamie Dornan stated. It certainly sounds like the new Christian in "Fifty Shades Freed" is less of the troubled person that was introduced in "Fifty Shades of Grey".

Jamie Dornan fans already know that there is more to him than just the guy who plays Christian Grey. The star of "The Fall" will appear as Will Scarlet in "Robin Hood: Origins", which is scheduled for release on March 23, 2018, as per CeleBeat. But before that, Dornan will reunite with Dakota Johnson in "Fifty Shades Freed", which will premiere on February 14, 2018.
