'Supergirl' Season 3 Bringing Back Cat Grant As Guest Star; Calista Flockhart Set For Reunion With Jesse L. Martin?

Fans are already looking forward to more of Cat Grant in the next season of "Supergirl". Although Calista Flockhart will not be one of the main cast, there is little doubt that Kara Danvers' former mentor will appear in more episodes. Is it possible that the Most Powerful Person in National City will make an appearance in the next crossover episode featuring characters from "The Flash"? Some are already hoping Flockhart will be reunited with former "Ally McBeal" co-star Jesse L. Martin.

Cat Grant played a huge role in helping Kara Danvers become a real superhero in the first season of "Supergirl". However, Calista Flockhart was reduced to being a guest star in Season 2, a move that probably didn't sit well for most viewers. Nevertheless, people can expect to see more of Flockhart in "Supergirl" Season 3 (via Comic Book Resources) and some are even hoping that Cat will show up in the expected crossover episode with "The Flash". Is there any hope that Flockhart will share a scene with "Ally McBeal" alum Jesse L. Martin, who plays Joe West in the Grant Gustin show?

Calista Flockhart and Jesse L. Martin certainly had a great chemistry in "Ally McBeal", where Martin played Ally's boyfriend Dr. Greg Butters. A reunion between the two stars is certainly long overdue and it would be interesting to see how tough cop Joe West will deal with the fabulous Cat Grant. Unfortunately, there is no word yet on whether Cat and Joe will make an appearance in the "Supergirl" Season 3 crossover episode with "The Flash". Stay tuned to CeleBeat for more updates on your favorite TV shows.

Do you think Cat Grant should appear in more episodes on "Supergirl" Season 3? Should Calista Flockhart and Jesse L. Martin get reunited in a DC Arrowverse crossover episode? Let us know in the comments below.
