Ragnar Lothbrok might be dead but fans of "Vikings" Season 5 are still holding on to hope that Travis Fimmel will reprise his iconic role when the series returns to History. So is it possible that the "Warcraft" actor is back on the set to film for the fifth season? A new photo seems to suggest that Fimmel has reunited with Katheryn Winnick, who is currently working on the show. Will Ragnar and Lagertha find each other this summer?

There is little doubt that fans are still shaken to the core after witnessing the death of Ragnar Lothbrok in the episode "All His Angels" and some are still hoping the former King of Kattegat will appear in a vision like his friend Athelstan. Now there are speculations that Travis Fimmel is back on the set of "Vikings" Season 5, where he may have reunited with costar Katheryn Winnick. Will Lagertha dream of Ragnar in the new season?

Katheryn Winnick has recently posted a new picture on Instagram which shows the actress on the set of "Vikings" Season 5. Winnick captioned the photo, "Never a dull moment on the set.." since it features her with a man sporting a shaved head and a full beard. Fans who saw the image immediately thought that it was Travis Fimmel coming back on the set to reprise his role as Ragnar Lothbrok.

He may look a lot like Ragnar Lothbrok, but the man in Katheryn Winnick's post is not Travis Fimmel. It is actually Gustaf Skarsgard, who plays Floki in the History series. Skarsgard may have been mistaken for Fimmel since both actors wore the same older look in the previous season. In addition to that, there have been other instances where another actor has been mistaken for Fimmel, as per CeleBeat. Unfortunately, there is still no confirmation whether Ragnar will make an appearance in "Vikings" Season 5, which is expected to air on History in summer.
