The first promo for the seventh season of "Game of Thrones" is finally here and it looks like the focus will be on the three rulers in Westeros. Cersei Lannister, Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow are each shown in the places they rule, but did the teaser also hint at the future for the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms? Will Cersei's reign end with an icy death in "Game of Thrones" Season 7?
The possible death of Cersei Lannister may have only been a hint to the end of the series, but there was one other thing from the promo that had fans going crazy. The "Game of Thrones" Season 7 teaser also confirms that Daenerys Targaryen will find her way into Westeros and stake the claim on Dragonstone. In fact, she seems quite at home sitting on the majestic Targaryen throne.
This isn't the first time that the Dragonstone throne has been discovered by fans. A "Game of Thrones" Season 7 fan site has posted an Instagram image of the Targaryen throne last year. Nevertheless, it is still the first time that Daenerys Targaryen is seen sitting on it, perhaps confirming that the battle over the Seven Kingdoms will be between Dany and Cersei Lannister.
There are several theories as to why Cersei Lannister is the one who exhales some frosty breath in the "Game of Thrones" Season 7 promo. Some believe it means winter has arrived while other fans assume the sequence confirms Cersei as the Ice Queen. Is it possible that the Queen of the Seven Kingdoms will be killed and get resurrected by the Night King? If so, this could mean that Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow will have plenty of things to worry about on July 16, as per YouTube.
