'One Piece' Chapter 863 Spoilers: The Beginning of Big Mom's Downfall; Katakuri Restrains the Real Luffy
"One Piece" chapter 863 has finally put Luffy with the Straw Hat Pirates' assassination plot against Big Mom in place and the latest chapter of the popular manga picks up the captain of the pirates' grand entrance. The huge tea party, also known as Sanji Vinsmoke and Charlotte Pudding's wedding ceremony is now chaotic following Luffy's grand entrance. Now, everyone is apparently in danger and will have to find a way to save their lives.
In "One Piece" chapter 863, it is revealed that the mirror on the cake was Luffy's idea so he can make a grand entrance to the wedding ceremony. It can be recalled that the captain of the Straw Hat Pirates made a shocking entrance to the wedding, setting off Big Mom's assassination as well as saving Sanji. Brulee was compelled to make Luffy hundreds of clones or doppelgangers so he can have them out of the cake during the wedding ceremony.
Apparently, Big Mom is infuriated in "One Piece" chapter 863 upon seeing the cake destroyed and seeing a lot of Luffy's clones. She demanded the chefs to produce another wedding cake immediately or she will get them killed if they can't do it. Katakuri, on the other hand, managed to find the real Luffy but Big Mom appears to be enraged by it saving someone as strong as she is.
It is revealed in "One Piece" chapter 863 that Big Mom mistreats her children and calls Katakuri as her lowly child. As posted on Read Manga, Katakuri successfully restrained the real Luffy through the use of his Mochi Mochi No Mi power, which produces loads of sticky material. As Jinbe revealed, Katakuri is a Logia-type user and his Mochi power successfully subdued the real Luffy.
Katakuri is also known for his Observation Haki and "One Piece" chapter 863 spoilers reveal that he was able to put a stop to Big Mom's assassination. In a thread on Reddit, it was revealed that Jinbe tries to distract Big Mom and Brook suddenly appears, destroying Mother Caramel's photo. Apparently, Katakuri's Observation Haki failed as he did not see this coming. He is aware that this will be the start of Big Mom's defeat.
