'Maze Runner 3' Star Thomas Sangster Reveals Favorite Scene With Dylan O'Brien, Newt/Thomas Bromance Is For Real

It's no secret that the cast of "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" is a tight-knit bunch. After all, the actors have been working together for several years. However, Thomas Sangster has just revealed that there was one particular scene that stood out as the best moment he had with Dylan O'Brien. Fans can truly rest assured that the bromance between Newt and Thomas is real, thanks to the two awesome actors who play them.

In an interview with Boys By Girls, Thomas Sangster admitted that his first scene with Dylan O'Brien happened to be the bonfire scene from the first film where Newt offered Thomas some moonshine. "It was great to see that he knows how to mess around and have fun, but also lovely to act against as well," Sangster said of O'Brien. There is little doubt that the former "Game of Thrones" actor thinks very highly of the "American Assassin" star and things can only get better for Newt and Thomas in "Maze Runner 3".

Thomas Sangster only has high praise for Dylan O'Brien, who he compares to "a young Jim Carrey in some ways." The "Maze Runner 3" star also shared that O'Brien is "incredibly professional" and happens to be "one of the hardest working actors" he has worked with. It certainly sounds like Newt and Thomas' bromance goes beyond the movies, as Sangster and O'Brien were recently spotted partying in a club in Cape Town (via Twitter).

Thomas Sangster and Dylan O'Brien might get along but there could be trouble for Newt and Thomas in the upcoming sequel. After all, Newt ends up being on the wrong side of Thomas' cause in the third James Dashner novel. Find out if the film follows the book's storyline when "Maze Runner 3" premieres on February 9, 2018.
