‘Fear The Walking Dead’ Showrunner Bids Goodbye to Series After Season 3

"Fear the Walking Dead" showrunner Dave Erickson will finally bid farewell to the series after three great seasons with the hit franchise. However, he will still stay on with AMC to work on other projects. The network added to their official announcement that Erickson's fill-in is yet to be determined.

"Fear the Walking Dead" AMC president of original programming Joel Stillerman expressed his gratitude for Dave Erickson's fabulous work and what he has accomplished. With Erickson as the showrunner, the series has gone on to become number two in ad-supported cable, next to "The Walking Dead". He did a fantastic job during the first three seasons and their very excited he's staying on with the network to pursue another great project. They're looking forward to lots of successful collaborations in the future, per IGN.

A Talent on the Rise

Aside from working alongside creator Robert Kirkman for "Fear the Walking Dead", Dave Erickson has some impressive ammo under his belt. He was writer and producer on the AMC series "Low Winter Sun," starring Mark Strong, Lennie James of "The Walking Dead", and David Costabile of "Breaking Bad". Furthermore, he also wrote for and was the co-executive producer for "Son's of Anarchy" per Variety.

Bittersweet Goodbye

It turns out Erickson has nothing but love and happy memories during his stint with "Fear the Walking Dead". He's truly enjoyed working with everybody from the cast and crew, writers and directors of the series. He's so proud of what the entire team has accomplished over the first two seasons. He's looking forward to completing his work on the third and sharing it with their avid viewers. He's thrilled to be developing new projects with AMC.
