Since Japanese anime series "Dragon Ball Super" started airing in July 2015, its first impressions to fans were mostly positive and its animation quality has been praised. Critics say that the anime introduced a laid back plotline and its debut was a slice of life. Now, with the anime's Tournament of Power underway, Goku is scouting for members to join the team in entering the said tournament.

That said, two fan-favorite characters are expected to make a comeback soon following Goku's recruitment to enter the "Dragon Ball Super" Tournament of Power. CrunchyRoll reports that Cell Saga veteran Android 17 is set to return in episode 86, which airs April 16. Goku will also have an unexpected sparring with a slimmed down Majin Buu when he goes to Dende's temple looking for Android 17.

Android 18 is also expected to make a comeback when she finally agreed to join the tournament after Goku successfully convinced her to join the team. One episode titled Son Goku the Talent Scout: Inviting Krilin and No. 18 is apparently about Goku's scouting for Krillin and his wife Android 18. The latter initially refused to join the tournament and Goku has to lie and tells her that there is prize money amounting to ten million Zenny.

Android 18 is partly human and one of the best fighters in Universe 7. It is said that she can level up and Goku is determined to have her in the team. Krillin, who is Goku's best friend is apparently surprised by his invitation to enter the "Dragon Ball Super" Tournament of Power since he has already retired from fighting. However, he still accepts Goku's invitation.

Meanwhile, Goku's transformation into a pure crimson Super Saiyan God form is also expected in "Dragon Ball Super." It's going to be for a brief moment but his appearance is being portrayed purely red. According to Droid Report, this is different from the Super Saiyan Blue form that is infused with Kaio-ken.
