'Attack on Titan' Season 2 Begins to Air; English Dub Is Expected to Follow Soon

"Attack on Titan" Season 2 anime has begun airing on Saturday, April 1. This new season may become the latest installment of the series and International fans expected the English dub version will soon follow.

Following its 25 episodes of the season 1, "Attack on Titan" Season 2 began on April 1. However, according to Kotaku, the season premiere has not done any improvement of the from the slow pace in the previous season. For the first time viewers, the first episode does not offer compelling series.

The "Attack on Titan" Season 2 premiere titled "Beast Titan" uncovered a new mysterious Titan covered with fur that look like a gorilla, able to speak and possess an intelligence. The Titan, called Beast Titan captured Mike Zacharius and took off his gear. Failed to obtain sufficient information, the Beast Titan left to be eaten by other Titans. The episode ended with the appearance of Titans at Stohess alarmed the three heroes Eren, Armin and Mikasa.

Beast Titan is the new addition to the swarming Titans attacking the human compound and the first one that able to communicate. The premiere episode of "Attack on Titan" Season 2 is written by Yasuko Kobayashi and directed by Hiroyuki Tanaka. The English dub airdate is scheduled on April 22.

"Attack on Titan" Season 2 Episode 2 is titled "I'm Home" and, according to Comic Book, the new battle in the Wall Rose for the humanity will begin. Meanwhile, Sasha takes a trip to her hometown village in the northeastern forest. She finds out that after three years leaving home, her hometown has completely changed and the change will be revealed in Episode 2.

The manga, "Attack on Titan" was first appeared in September 2009, written and directed by Hajime Isayawa. Four years later, Wit Studio and I.G. co-produced the anime and aired on MBS. Watch the official trailer of the "Attack on Titan" Season 2 below:
