Fans have been holding out for any updates from Dylan O'Brien, who has stopped being active on social media since he suffered an injury on the set of "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" in March 2016. Since then, the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star has only posted one tweet. However, it looks like the "Maze Runner 3" actor has broken his Twitter silence in order to get people excited about his new film "American Assassin".

Dylan O'Brien has last tweeted his support for the Mets last year. The single post certainly had fans going nuts in hope that the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star would be back on social media with his funny tweets. Unfortunately, there has only been silence since then. That is until the "Maze Runner 3" actor decided to share the "American Assassin" teaser.

Dylan O'Brien has just retweeted "the teaser for the teaser" for "American Assassin", which was originally posted by the film's official Twitter account. The brief promo only offers a glimpse at the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 star, who is sporting longer hair and a serious look on his face.

Luckily, fans will not have to wait too long to see the "American Assassin" teaser. The full-length trailer has been released on YouTube. The video certainly promises plenty of action and much of Dylan O'Brien's trademark sarcasm. The teaser also shows that Michael Keaton will be a huge part of Mitch Rapp's training, which includes throwing the CIA black ops agent down easily.

But will Dylan O'Brien take a break from filming "Maze Runner 3" to promote "American Assassin"? CeleBeat has previously reported on the possibility. However, fans believe that the press tour for the new film will begin after "The Death Cure" has wrapped production. "American Assassin" will premiere on September 15.
