Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized After Bad Car Crash

Lindsay Lohan was involved in a car accident earlier this afternoon in California. An ambulance was called to the scene, but Lohan was not taken to the hospital via ambulance. However, her assistant who was a passenger was. Lohan and her assistant's injuries are said not to be serious, but witnesses saw the women bloodied and bruised, but concious, after the accident and doctors are performing tests to be sure.

"I just spoke to her, she's doing fine," a source told Hollyscoop.

Lohan was driving her black Porsche on the Pacific Coast Highway when she claims an 18-wheeler cut her off and she slammed into the back off it. Lohan's Porsche is totaled. The car was seen with the passenger-side window smashed, the bumper completely off the car and the airbag deployed.

Lohan is currently in the middle of filming the Lifetime biopic, "Liz and Dick," a movie about Elizabeth Taylor's two-decade affair with Richard Burton. No word yet on if the accident will delay filming.
