Will Smith is hands down one of the biggest movie stars in the world, but as many people know he got his start in music. Apparently, Smith has returned to his roots and recorded a remix to one of his most famous songs - Summertime.

Smith started out as the rapping half of DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince in the 1980s. Smith was of course, the Fresh Prince. The duo released their first album in 1987 and followed up with four more albums before parting ways. Smith also released four solo albums.

Smith's rise to international fame began in 1990 when he was cast in the hit family series "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," about a Philadelphia teen who goes to live with his relatives in Bel-Air to stay out of trouble. His first major movie role was in 1993's "Six Degrees of Separation." Smith went on to star in blockbuster hits "Bad Boys," "Bad Boys II," "Independence Day," the "Men In Black" trilogy, "I Am Legend" and many more.

Even though the duo haven't recorded a record since 1993, they have remained close friends and Smith agreed to appear on the Summertime 3 mixtape with Jazzy Jeff and Mick Boogie.

A one-minute and ten-second preview of the song was released for fans today and the full song will be available for download on June 11.
