Conor Kennedy's Cousins 'Treat Taylor Swift Like Trailer Trash' And Intend To ' Freeze Her Out' [Report]

Our dream of a modern Camelot romance may soon be dashed.

Taylor Swift's summer romance with Conor Kennedy, 18, may soon be over, if the Kennedy clan gets their way.

 "Maria, 56, and Caroline, 54, both think that Taylor is moving in on RFK Jr.'s barely-legal son way too fast," a source close to the iconic family told The Enquirer.

They see her as a ruthless social climber who will stop at nothing to become part of America's most famous family," the source continued. And as a result are treating her like "trailer trash." Ouch.

We must admit their reason for worry is a valid one as the 22-year-old recently purchased a house in Hyannis Port, Mass., across from Conor's grandmother, Ethel.

According to the realtor the property is "a 13-room home overlooking Nantucket Sound with seven bedrooms and five bathrooms." It was originally on the market for $14 million but Swift scooped it up for $4.9 million.

The Kennedy's have had enough of Swift and are reportedly planning to shun her.

"Once the traditional Kennedy clambakes and summer boating parties settle down, they intend to freeze Taylor out of the social scene. They want her to go back to Nashville," the source said.

On Thursday's "Today" Show, Kathie Lee Gifford confirmed that Swift did indeed crash the wedding of Kyle Kennedy in Boston last Saturday.

"The truth, because I was there," Gifford, who is the step-grandmother of the bride said, "[is that] Vicki, [my husband] Frank's daughter's account of what happened in Boston is accurate."

Lee soon jumped to the doll-faced crooner's defense, saying "I'm not sure she didn't know she wasn't invited."

According to the Boston Herald, Swift was told not to attend the wedding, not once, but twice by Victoria Gifford Kennedy--the mother of the bride and daughter of the late Michael Kennedy.

"They texted me an hour before the wedding and asked if they could come. I responded with a very clear, 'Please do not come.' They came anyway," a clearly perturbed Gifford Kennedy said.

When she arrived on the premises "I personally went up to Ms. Swift, whose entrance distracted the entire event, politely introduced myself to her, and asked her as nicely as I could to leave," she said. "It was like talking to a ghost. She seemed to look right past me."

In a released statement to the Boston Herald, Swift's rep, Paula Erickson, insisted that she was indeed invited to the nuptial, also claiming that "the bride thanked her profusely for being there."

But according to a source close to the bride and groom "It was kind of weird, and the family felt like they couldn't do anything."
