The Twitter war that erupted over the weekend between LeAnn Rimes and Brandi Glanville isn't showing signs of dying down anytime soon.

After Brandi Glanville told US Weekly that she doesn't think Rimes is fit to take care of Eddie Cibrian's and Glanville's sons, the Internet exploded with questions about Rimes' health.

"I, unfortunately, don't find her to be stable and I don't want her around my kids when Eddie's not there - or at least the nanny, his parents, someone," Brandi Glanville told Us Weekly. "Mason, my eldest, ate some of Le's candies and got extremely ill. And Le's candies are laxatives. It was a big f**king deal for me, and I lost my mind. They don't keep sugar in the house. He thought he finally found candy."

The feud between Glanville and Rimes started in 2009 when Rimes had an affair with Glanville's then-husband, Eddie Cibrian. After being married for eight years and having two sons, Glanville said she was devastated.

"I was a 36-year-old woman who couldn't lease a car and couldn't lease a house! For 13 years, my name wasn't on one account. I am still building my credit," Glanville told the New York Post.

"We were living way above our means in a 10,000-square-foot house. There wasn't a lot to get [in the divorce settlement] honestly," she explained.

Three years later, the war of words has moved from the tabloids to Twitter.  A little after 11:00 a.m. EST today, Glanville tweeted: "This is about my kids not them!!!!!!!!!!!!!" We assume "them" means Rimes and Cibrian.

Three minutes before she tweeted: "I want it to go away so I can deal with it on my own.I know it seems hypocritical but can we not talk about "them" anymore at least 4today."

The newest war between the women erupted on Twitter this weekend, when Rimes, 30, called Glanville's children, Mason, 9, and Jake, 5, "my boys."

Soon afterward, Glanville, 40,  tweeted more than 157,000 Twitter followers: "Someone is trying 2 get under my skin by calling MY children "her boys"Sooo transparent! They R MY boys, Eddie Boys and ur step-sons... 4 now."

It doesn't take much to get under Glanville's skin. It is well-known that Rimes had an affair with Cibrian while he was married to Glanville. Later Rimes and Cibrian both divorced their then-spouses to marry each other.

After Glanville accused Rimes of allowing the 5-year-old to ride a bike without a helmet, Rimes, who has more than 341,000 Twitter followers, tweeted Glanville saying: "@brandiglanville really, he's not in a st. It's in our neighborhood, and you know it. It's on the dirt."
