'How I Met Your Mother' Season 8 Episode 10 Preview: Does Mashall's Mom Get A New Boyfriend In 'The Over-Correction'

On tonight's episode of "How I Met Your Mother" Robin tries to figure out why Barney is dating Patrice, and Marshall's mother comes to the Big Apple.

CBS has released an extended preview for tonight's episode of "How I Met Your Mother" season 2 episode 10. In the preview, we see a deperate Robin looking around Barney's apartment to find the "The Playbook," but we don't know why. She stumbles across some duplicates, and the "Bro Code," but before she can find The Playbook, Barney comes in, so Robin needs to hide. She enlisted Ted to help her escape from Barney's apartment (she's hiding in his closet) and says she's holding Ted's infamous Red Cowboy boots hostage, which infuriates Ted. He tries to help, but Barney doesn't buy that Jon Bon Jovi is sitting in the lobby of his building. You can watch the preview for tonights episode below.

As for Marshall and Lily, Marshall's mother comes to visit, and usually that means Lily is miserable. But, it seems like from the previews that Lily and Marshall's mother are getting along! Except, when Marshall's mom goes back into the dating world, Marshall has a difficult time adjusting to his mother moving on from the death of his dad a few seasons ago.

Barney's relationship with Patrice is truly confusing. Is he really interested in her, or are her and Barney teaming up to find some kind of surprise engagement proposal for Robin? We'll find out tonight!
