‘The Office’ Season 9 Spoilers: Will Dwight And Angela Get Back Together?

For a couple seasons now forces in and outside the Dunder Mifflin office have worked to keep Angela and Dwight apart on "The Office." Now it appears that some hope still remains for the former love birds.

As fans of "The Office" are well aware, Dwight is definitely still single, and Angela just learned that her husband, the Senator, has been having an affair with Oscar. Now it seems like the two finally have the opportunity to get back together and raise Angela's baby, Philip...and it's all thanks to the demise of "The Office" spinoff, "The Farm."

NBC had initially planned on keeping the character of Dwight around after "The Office" concluded at the end of season nine. Despite casting and a pilot, "The Farm" was shot down. However it does leave hope for Angela and Dwight. Had "The Farm" been picked up by NBC, Angela was not expected to cross over. Now that "The Office" is officially coming to an end, boss Greg Daniels teased that a happy ending for the odd ball couple might be in the future.

Besides a possible Dwight and Angela reunion, "Office" fans can also look forward to seeing "The Farm" pilot as an episode part of season nine.

"We're not going to air exactly what it was, because it has certain aspects that were appropriate for a pilot of a new show," Daniels said to TVLine.com. "We're going to shoot a little additional material to make it fit into the season more."

Other upcoming season nine spoilers include the airing of the mysterious Dunder Mifflin documentary and possibly the big reveal of the Scranton Strangler.
