Emmylou Harris Accident: Singer Charged With Misdemeanor Hit-and-Run For 2012 Crash

Los Angeles prosecutors have charged country star Emmylou Harris with misdemeanor hit-and-run related to a car accident that took place last year, according to The Associated Press. 

Harris, a 12-time Grammy-winning singer, was charged on Wednesday for failing to exchange information with a driver whose car she hit on a freeway on Oct. 1.

The criminal complaint filed in Beverly Hills didn't contain additional details about the accident or how much damage occurred.

Despite the chrage, Harris continues to tour and is scheduled to release an album of duets in late February.
