Drop Dead Diva Star Kate Levering Gives Birth to First Baby

Kate Levering gave birth to her first baby with husband Reza Jahangiri earlier this month.

According to Us Weekly, the Drop Dead Diva actress's rep confirmed that she the star gave birth. Levering and her husband married in April.

In a June interview with Lifetime, she was asked about what she was excited about motherhood.

"I'm excited to meet him for the first time, but I wonder...will I recognize him?  Will he be totally familiar to me, or will he be a little alien to me?  As a pregnant woman - your baby is with you all the time...and you start feeling them but I can't help but wonder, will I know him in the beginning. I plan to try to do it un-medicated, and there is a lot of anticipation around what will it be like, and can I do it?"

There was no information about when specifically is the birthdate of the baby. However, the first time mother has been tweeting some updates about her pregnancy and about giving birth. "When my water broke in real life I thought I peed the bed!!" she tweeted on Monday, Aug. 12.

The new mom is already ready to get back into shape after giving birth.

"Thanks Alex Arreguin for my 1st post baby workout," she tweeted on Aug. 13. "Hard 2 do ab exercises, when you HAVE NONE!! #trying2baMILF."
