Fifty Shades of Grey News: Casting Rumors about Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam

A lot of Hollywood stars have been rumored to be casted as the leading roles in the film adaptation of EL James's erotic novel Fifty Shades of Grey, recently two specific names have been rumored to be tied down to the project. Charlie Hunnam and Dakota Johnson, according to People.

Hunnam is the star of the upcoming drama series Sons of Anarchy. He is also the star of the sci-fi film Pacific Rim.  On the other hand, Johnson is a former model and the star of the ended series of Ben and Kate. She is also the daughter of Don Johnson and Melanie Griffith.

Names ranging from Ian Somerhalder to Emma Watson have been associated with the lead roles of Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. However, sources told Variety that there have been no casting decisions yet.

In addition to that, Hunnam's reps have announced that the 33-year-old actor does not have the part, according to the Guardian.

The only thing that's certain with the movie so far is that it has a release date of August 2014 and that Sam Taylor-Johnson is the director.
