A Sneak Peek at Lamar Odom's Troubled Life

Lamar Odom didn't have a nice weekend, that's for sure. Lamar Odom and Khloe Kardashian Odom haven't been out together since June 2. There were numerous reports of him battling his drug addiction and infidelity rumors which resulted in rumors that he and Khloe are having a rough time with their marriage, according to People.

"They really do love each other," a source told PEOPLE, "But she really feels that this problem is out of control, and she's hurt that he won't get help."

The source added that Kardashian Odom and her family attempted to have an intervention last week. Unfortunately, this resulted in Odom leaving their Tarzana home.

This is not the first time that the Clippers player has faced drug accusations. In 2001, he was caught violating the NBA drug policies twice in only a span of 8 months. He then apologized to a press conference, "I've made a couple [of mistakes] and I may make a couple again, but hopefully they won't be as big as this one." 

It's seems Odom has had rough life ever since he was young. When he was 12 years old, Odom lost his mother to colon cancer then Odom also revealed to ESPN about how his father struggled with heroin addiction.

In 2003, Odom commented about his marijuana use to Miami Herald, "I just couldn't control myself in L.A. ... the lifestyle that I was living and the things I had access to ... A lot of times I'd think about it and say, 'Damn, am I fighting my father's demons ... ' "
