Danica Patrick will take a short break in the race track to co-host with the country legend Trace Adkins at the 2013 American Country Awards, which was announced on Tuesday, Sept. 17, Us Weekly reported.

The famous NASCAR driver will help in the introduction of popular singers such as Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton and Uncle Kracker to name a few. She will also get to present awards to the winners of ACA that ranges from Taylor Swift to Lady Antebellum. The ACA will be held at the Mandalay Bay resort in Las Vegas.

"I can't wait to see if I have what it takes to keep up with this racing superstar," Adkins said in a statement. For last year's ACA, Adkins was joined by Broadway Star Kristen Chenoweth. Patrick also said that she is "excited" to try her new venture as a host.

"I have no doubt he'll be able to keep up with me," the 31-year-old racer said in a statement. "I've become a huge fan of country music since I came to NASCAR. This is going to be a really cool experience and I'm excited to be a part of it. It's going to be a great show!"

The American Country Awards will air on Fox on Dec. 10.
