Paula Patton Knows How to Twerk Too!

It seems that twerking is not an issue when it comes to Paula Patton and Robin Thicke. While promoting her new movie Baggage Claim, the actress really wanted to share her opinion on the controversial performance of Miley Cyrus and husband Robin Thicke, Us Weekly reported.

Patton appeared on Watch What Happens Live on Tuesday, Sept. 17, and she answered a question about the controversial performance with the viewer asking: "How long did it take to wash Miley's funk off your husband's Beetlejuice pants?"

"First of all, his outfit was fly," she said. "Secondly, he was wearing pants so there was nothing to wash off. It wasn't a naked show!"

"I wasn't surprised at all," she added about the collaboration. "Honestly, they rehearsed for three days beforehand, and I don't know how not to dance with someone having their booty in your . . . all my friends do it like that. And I don't really know what the big deal is."

The biggest surprise for Patton? It was the reaction of the fans. "I didn't know if they thought Miley was going to sit down and play piano like Alicia Keys. Her song's about taking molly!" she said.

On Sept. 18, Patton appeared on the TODAY show, she reiterated her thoughts about the performance. "I don't know if you guys have been to a club lately, but that's how girls dance at the club," she said. "My friends dance with [Robin] like that. It's just what they do."

In order to prove her point, Patton got up and twerked on Al Roker. Patton teased Roker: "Your wife's [Deborah Roberts] not going to get mad at you is she?"
