Miley Cyrus remains unapologetic about her antics at the MTV Video Music Awards, E! News reported Monday.

A new clip of her Cyrus' MTV documentary, Miley: The Movement, was released. It is set to air in full on Wednesday at 10 p.m. However, the preview showed Cyrus defiant to critics who have criticized her endless twerking, nudity and love of drugs.

"I don't apologize for anything," the 20-year-old said.

The Wrecking Ball singer said that she meant to push the envelope with her twerking performance and new racy image. It was part of a perception overhaul for the former Hannah Montana.

"It's a strategic hot mess," Cyrus said. "If I wanted a raunchy sex show, I wouldn't have been dressed as a damned bear."

Cyrus cited other pop superstars, Britney Spears and Madonna, as provocateurs who were not afraid to shock the masses. She saw herself as a continuation of that trend.

"I'm onto the next one," she said, adding, "Yes, I am very comfortable with my sexuality."

Cyrus also expressed the desire that she wanted to do something that was not like her. She wanted to shake things up personally and professionally. She no longer wanted to be a Disney role model.

"I just needed to let go of the past in a way," she said, "so I felt like I could be the bad bitch I am."
