Jamie Foxx Says Katie Holmes Dating Rumors 'Are 100 Percent Not True'

Jamie Foxx has denied rumors that he is romancing Katie Holmes, PEOPLE reported Tuesday.

The 45-year-old movie star told Entertainment Tonight on Monday that he was not dating the ex-wife of Tom Cruise. The rumors gained traction when the two danced together at a party held in August, Apollo in the Hamptons: A Night of Legends. According to Foxx, a dance was all to their interaction.

"[The rumors] are 100 percent not true," Foxx said. "In fact, it's quite hilarious because we simply danced at a charity event along with a lot of other people."

The rumored relationship was further spurred on by speculation from In Touch. The magazine cited sources who claimed that the 34-year-old Dawson's Creek actress was secretly dating Foxx.

"Katie and Jamie have been dating for a while," an insider said. "They're very Mission: Impossible about their romance."

The source also added that Foxx has been spending time at Holmes' New York residence. In addition, Foxx was allegedly being visiting by Holmes on the set of Annie which is being filmed in New York as well. The two have also been hooking up at the Trump Hotel.

"A hotel employee confirmed that Katie had stayed at the hotel with Jamie and that she was taking his car," the second source said. "So the driver drove her home to her Chelsea apartment."
