Rider Strong and Alexandra Barreto are Getting Married This Sunday

Boy Meets World's Rider Strong is heading to the chapel to get married this Sunday to Alexandra Barreto, People reported.

Strong, 33, and Barreto, 31, started seeing each other when they were co-starring on the Rebecca Romjin TV series Pepper Dennis. This 2006 sitcom was cancelled after only three months but the two kept dating.

The couple became engaged on December 23 when the actor proposed with a three-stone diamond ring.

Strong has said of his engagement to E! Online, "I took [Alexandra] for a walk under the redwoods on the property where I grew up in Northern California. It was pouring rain, but it didn't look like it was going to stop anytime soon, so I just decided to go for it."

He also said that the engagement ring was designed and created by himself. 'I spent weeks making the ring in secret. I found an old-school jeweler who works out of his basement in Echo Park and asked him to teach me how to do a lost wax casting,' he said.

"My brother and I write together at his loft in downtown L.A., so I was able to set up a workspace there. I carved the ring out of wax, and then cast it in white gold. I had my dad make a wooden ring box for me. My dad made my mom's ring, so I was following in his footsteps.'

When it comes to his upcoming marriage to Barreto, Strong said to People, "I'm incredibly lucky to be getting married to my best friend and partner-in-crime."

This is the first marriage for both Rider and Alexandra.
