Ronan Farrow has spoken out about the rumors regarding his paternity and whether or not Frank Sinatra is his biological father, Vulture reported Monday.

The 25-year-old was a guest at the 79th anniversary benefit and auction for The Blue Card, a Holocaust survivor non-profit on Monday evening. The event was held at the American Museum of Natural History. He was there with his mother, Mia Farrow, who dropped a bombshell earlier this month in the pages of Vanity Fair. She revealed that her late ex-husband, Frank Sinatra, and not former partner Woody Allen, could be the father of Ronan.

Ronan addressed the controversy to the publication and took it all in stride.

"You know, I wasn't there, so I don't have a lot more to offer than you," he said. "Of course, it is a distraction ... But I take it in stride. Look, we all have, you know, our family histories to bear ... so ..."

Ronan was asked whether he would take a DNA test and put to rest all speculation. He was not too keen on the idea.

I'm pretty unfazed by it in substance, because it's been out there both publicly and privately for so long. You know, I have a relationship that I'm very happy with, you know, with all parties involved. For me, the imperative is 'all right, we've talked about it, I get a kick out of it, everyone gets a kick out of it. Let's move onto the substance,"he said.
