‘Bold and the Beautiful’ News: Jacqueline MacInnes Wood Returns Dec. 12

Jacqueline MacInnes Wood will be returning to The Bold and the Beautiful, Soap Opera Digest reported Wednesday.

Wood's Steffy Forrester will start airing on the CBS soap opera Dec. 12. There was no further information given about the duration of her stay or details about her storyline. The character has sporadically appeared in the past few months but has not been prominently featured. Steffy was written out of the show after suffering a miscarriage.

The Emmy nominated Wood opted to go on recurring with the B&B earlier this year. She wanted to focus on other opportunities and travel the world. In May, the show addressed her impending absence.
"Jacqueline MacInnes Wood is taking a short break, as she has done in the past, from B&B," said the PR rep. "She remains as the character of “Steffy Forrester” and is continuing to tape, currently with episodes airing through July of 2013 and then beyond."
She is currently the host of E! Entertainment Television series, Party On, where she takes viewers to the hottest parties in the world in the most exotic locations.
