Kanye West has threatened a boycott of Louis Vuitton, The Huffington Post reported Tuesday.

West gave an interview to  92.3 Now on Monday and lashed out at the fashion label. He was angered that he was being snubbed.

"While I was in Paris I wanted to meet the head of Louis Vuitton and he said, 'I don't understand why we need to meet with you?' I said, 'Let me explain to you why you need to meet with me,'" West said.

West also then issued an edict to his fans. He wanted them to boycott the brand.

"Everybody in New York City right now, don't buy any Louis Vuitton until after January. Now do you wanna meet with me?" West said. "Influence. They think that I don't realize my power. They want to marginalize me."

West has previously fought to assert himself in fashion. In a BBC Radio 1 interview that took place in September, the 36-year-old claimed that leather joggings were his idea. He argued that he brought the idea to Fendi six years ago but was ignored.

"Whether I'm at a dinner with Anna Wintour, [editor-in-chief of US Vogue magazine] or a listening party with Pusha-T or in Rome with Virgil [Abloh, West's creative director], giving Fendi our designs and getting them knocked down ... [We] brought the leather jogging pants six years ago to Fendi, and they said no," he said.
