Kanye West: I Risk My Life Like Cop or Soldier During Concerts (VIDEO)

Kanye West has compared his Yeezus tour to putting his life in danger the same way a cop or a soldier would.

West spoke with SaturdayNightOnline , Gossip Cop reported Monday, and the rapper made the comparison. He felt that his life was put in peril performing in front of fans.

"I'm just giving of my body on stage... I'm putting my life at risk," West said. "This is like being a police officer or war or something."

West continued to explain why his vocation made him fear for his safety.

"You're literally going out to do your job every day knowing that something could happen to you... verbally, from the press bashing you, something could happen to you from people not liking you anymore... [or] you could actually slip on that stage," he said.

West has been on tour for the past few months in support of his latest offering, Yeezus. His fiancée, Kim Kardashian, has joined West along with their daughter, North.
