'16 & Pregnant' Season Five Star Revealed: Meet Summer Rewis

Later this year, MTV will debut its fifth season of 16 & Pregnant and on it will be twelve new girls, all experiencing teen pregnancy. One of those girls will reportedly be Summer Rewis.

According to The Ashley's Reality Roundup, Rewis has been filming since at least October when cameras captured moments from Rewis' baby shower, and possibly even earlier.

Rewis gave birth to her first son, Peyton Daniel, at the end of October, a few weeks before he was due. Rewis had been dating the child's father, DJ, for three years before their child was born and in June, DJ proposed. Two months later, at the end of August, the pair tied the knot in a courthouse wedding. Following the wedding, Rewis and her new husband honeymooned in St. Simon, an island near their hometown.

When the pair announced their pregnancy in March of 2013, things appeared unplanned.

In a Facebook post at the time, DJ wrote, "I can say that no matter what happens I am going to love Summer and our baby unconditionally and I am going to do whatever it takes to take care of them both! And yes Summer is going to go to school and I am in college as well with straight A’s and I am also looking for a job. This is going to be hard on us, I know, but with God we can make it through anything! A lot of people are dissapointed in us and I completely understand, but I see it as a blessing from God. I know we’re young, but I am not going to be a deadbeat and run away from this."

No premiere date for 16 & Pregnant season five has yet been announced, but The Ashley's predicts the air date will likely be in the fall of this year.
