Emily Blunt and Husband John Krasinski Welcome A Baby Girl

Emily Blunt and husband John Krasinski welcomed a baby girl on Sunday, Feb. 16. Krasinski  took to Twitter to announce the birth and said he "'wanted to let the news out directly".

"Emily and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our daughter Hazel into the world today! Happy bday!" John tweeted.

The couple started dating in 2008 and got engaged in August 2009. The two got married in Italy in 2010. The stars have always wanted to be parents.

"We want to have children; I just don't know when yet. I'm just not sure about the timing of all of that. We're both from big families, so I think it's something we want," the actress told to Manhattan magazine in 2012.

"John has been talking about wanting to be a dad for a long time. He said that as soon as he was finished with The Office, he and Emily were going to start really trying. Guess he has fast swimmers cause it didn't take them too long!" a source told HollywoodLife at the time when the couple made the pregnancy announcement.

During the baby shower on Dec. 14, 2013, a source told People: "It was a very casual shower. Emily seems very excited about the baby and looks great. She opened gifts of baby clothes and plush toys in front of her guests as they enjoyed cookies and chocolate. Everyone was oohing and ahhing."
