Brandi Glanville took to her Twitter account on Tuesday, February 18, and claimed that ex-husband Eddie Cibrian has asked for child support for their two young sons. Cibrian slammed this claim of his ex-wife saying that it is "preposterous."

In a series of posts on her Twitter account, Glanville claims that Cibrian was asking for child support.

It started with a tweet, saying: "2 all these young unmarried bloggers writing about getting over divorce¬ seeing ur children grow up 1/2 the time, walk a mile in my shoes."

"Im not taking cheap shots at my ex in my new book cuz its all true,&now mr fancy new cars&house man is asking ME for child support![You know nada]," Glanville wrote.

"Everytime I take 1 step frwd I get a lawyers letter that takes me 3 steps back so wen people say move on, I say 2 my ex LET ME! Just STOP (sic).

"Going to stay positive and focus on my new book & let my lawyer handle the rest," she later tweeted.

On Wednesday, February 19, a rep of the actor Us Weekly: "There is no truth to the claims that Eddie has requested child support from Brandi now, nor will he ever request child support from his ex-wife."

"The notion is preposterous. This is yet another ploy for self-promotion," the rep added.

However, a source told People: "Now that Brandi is making money and is successful, Eddie is backtracking on a prior agreement they had regarding child support payments. He's asking for money back from her, over $100,000, saying he overpaid. But he's asking for more than he's paid her in the first place!"
