Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have become engaged after two years of dating.

E! News confirmed the exciting announcement and shared the first photo of Kunis out in Los Angeles, giving photographers the first look at her diamond engagement ring.

After starting up a romance in April 2012, Kutcher and Kunis, who originally met on the set of That 70's Show in 1998, kept things on the down low, and didn't appear publicly until many months later. Since then, they have been very private about their relationship.

In a March 2013 interview with Elle Magazine, Kutcher, who split from Demi Moore in Nov. 2011, explained why he chose to leave his romantic life away from the public.

"People will fill in the blanks however they want," Ashton revealed to the magazine. "You know, I've learned the hard way how valuable privacy is," he explains. "And I've learned that there are a lot of things in your life that really benefit from being private. And relationships are one of them. And I am going to do everything in my power to have this relationship [with Mila] be private."

In Nov. 2012, Kutcher and Kunis' former That 70's Show co-star Kurtwood Smith, who played Red, weighed in on the romance, telling E!, "It's amazing. They're both great people, so I'm happy for them."

He also added, "Maybe they should get married. We'll all go to the wedding and that could be the reunion. It'll be a reality show."

Prior to his relationship with Kunis, Kutcher was married to Moore for six years. The pair began dating in 2003 and on Sept. 24, 2005, they tied the knot in a private ceremony conducted by a Rabbi of the Kabbalah Center. In Nov. 2011, Moore announced plans to end the marriage, but didn't officially file the documents until Dec. 21, 2012. Their divorce was finalized on Nov. 27, 2013.
