Jamie Lynn Spears Marries James Watson In New Orleans Wedding Ceremony

Jamie Lynn Spears is a married woman.

On Friday, the former Zoey 101 star, 22, and her businessman boyfriend, James Watson, 31, tied the knot in New Orleans.

E! News confirmed on March 15 that Spears and Watson got married in the tea room at Audubon Tea Room in New Orleans amid several members of Spears' family, including her mom, Lynn Spears, and sister, Britney Spears, who flew in from Los Angeles on Thursday with boyfriend David Lucado.

Spears and Watson dated on and off for two years before announcing their engagement in March 2013. At the time, Spears shared her exciting news via Twitter, asking fans, "Guesssss what??????," and then sharing a photo of her diamond engagement ring with the caption, "He did good."

In Jan. 2014, Spears chose a wedding dress by Liancarlo and shared a photo of her wedding preparations with fans. In the photo, Spears was seen at a bridal boutique with mother Lynn and her daughter, Maddie Aldridge.

"Finally found my perfect dress at @idobridalcouture!!!!!" Spears captioned the photo. "Thank y'all so much for making me feel so special and being so accommodating!!!!"

A short time later, Liancorlo Designs re-posted the photo. "We just want to congratulate the fab and talented @jamielynnspears on finding her Liancarlo gown for her big day!" they said. "You are going to look amazing!"

Prior to her relationship with Watson, Spears was engaged to Casey Aldridge, the father of her four-year-old daughter. After five years of dating, the pair ended their relationship in Nov. 2010.
