Jason Aldean Begins Dating His Former Mistress Following Divorce

Jason Aldean is reportedly dating his former mistress.

After divorcing his wife, Aldean has struck up a romance with the woman who drove them apart.

"The country singer has been dating Brittany Kerr since he filed for divorce from wife Jessica Ussery in April 2013," Us Weekly reported on March 17.

In Sept. 2012, Aldean and American Idol alum Kerr were photographed kissing at a West Hollywood bar, which led to a huge press scandal -- and the end of his marriage.

Although Aldean and his wife at the time, Jessica Ussery, attempted to salvage their 12-year marriage post-scandal, with Aldean publicly admitting to having "too much to drink" and acting "inappropriately at a bar," the damage had been done and seven months later, Aldean and Ussery went their separate ways.

"This is a really tough time for my entire family," Aldean told Us Weekly in an April 2013 statement at the time. "Jessica and I have been together since we were teenagers. We've been through a lot of ups and downs over the years as we grew up together as a couple. She will always be important to me because she is the mother of my children, and I know that we will both always make our daughters our No. 1 priority."

Also on March 17, TMZ published a report which included a photo taken at Aldean's March 14 concert. In the photo, Kerr was seen standing backstage as Aldean performed.
