Lily Allen recently opened up about losing her baby at six months pregnant.

Talking to The Sun, Allen candidly discussed the tragic death and how it has impacted her life.

"It was horrendous and something I would not wish on my worst enemy," Allen said of the still birth. "It's something that I still haven't dealt with. I never will get over it. I held my child and it was really horrific and painful-one of the hardest things that can happen to a person."

In Dec. 2007, Allen and her boyfriend at the time, Chemical Brothers' Ed Simons, announced they were expecting, but sadly, Allen lost her baby one month later and the two parted ways. In July 2009, Allen began dating Sam Cooper and on Aug. 6, 2010, revealed that she and Cooper were expecting their first child, a boy who would arrive in early 2011. But again, Allen lost her baby.

In late Oct. 2010, after experiencing over a week of heavy bleeding, Allen contracted septicemia, an often fatal blood poisoning infection, which eventually led to her second miscarriage.

"I was overwhelmed by what an incredibly unlucky thing it was to happen," Allen said of the devastating turn of events. "But I had this man standing by my side, who I knew was going to be with me for the rest of my life."

Days after Allen's second miscarriage, Allen was rushed back to the hospital where she nearly lost her life.

"I nearly died. But I was numb and I didn't care. I'd just lost my baby and that is a reflection of how numb I was," she admitted.

Two months after the miscarrige, on Christmas Day, Cooper asked Allen to marry him and the pair went on to get married on June 11, 2011. At the time, Allen was several months pregnant with daughter Ethel Mary, born November 25, 2011. Their second child, Marnie Rose, was born on Jan. 8, 2013.
