Pamela Anderson Sober: Blonde Bombshell Cuts Ties With Party Friend David LaChapelle

Pamela Anderson is reportedly focused on her sobriety and ridding her life of anyone and everyone who could jeopardize her future.

Along with her new blonde pixie cut, Anderson has embarked on a new, sober lifestyle and reportedly ended her friendship with former party pal, photographer David LaChapelle.

“Pamela’s been sober for quite some time now so she had to make the tough decision to cut certain people from her life,” an insider revealed to Radar Online. “And it’s not that Pam can’t be around people who are partying, but she doesn’t need them offering her drinks and stuff knowing she’s sober. Last time she hung out with David he just didn’t respect her sobriety, so he’s out.”

There's no word on what prompted Anderson to get sober, but fortunately, the main man in her life, Rick Salomon, is completely supportive of her decision. 

"Rick has been a very positive influence on Pam's life and he treats her very well," the source said. 

Anderson and Salomon first paired up in 2007, following Anderson's divorce from rapper Kid Rock. In October of that year, the couple applied for a marriage license in Las Vegas and tied the knot a few days later at the Mirage Hotel in front of friends and family members. Although the marriage was annulled five months after the ceremony, following Anderson's claims that the agreement was fraudulent, she and Salomon eventually rekindled their romance and were remarried by Jan. 2014.
