Rachel Bilson Pregnant 2014: Jaime King Confirms Friend's Baby News

Jaime King is reportedly speaking out about Rachel Bilson's pregnancy.

Days after Bilson's pregnancy was first reported, the actress' Hart Of Dixie co-star has come forward, confirming that Bilson is indeed pregnant with her first child.

"I was freaking out! I knew she wanted a baby, she wanted it so badly," King, 35, told Us Weekly, according to a May 26 report. "She's going to be in such good hands—she's in a really good space. I'm really thrilled for her."

Us Weekly first broke the news of Bilson's pregnancy on May 21, with a Bilson insider stating that Bilson, 32, and her longtime boyfriend, actor Hayden Christensen, 33, have been talking about having children "for awhile and are so excited."

After meeting on the set of Jumper in 2007, Bilson and Christensen began dating. One year later, they became engaged. In Aug. 2010, the pair split briefly but eventually reunited and have been going strong ever since.

As a close friend of Bilson's, King spends a lot of time with the now-pregnant star, and when they hang out with King's son, James, born Oct. 6, 2013, Bilson is always bringing him toys and interacting with the tot.

"Just seeing her with my son, I know she's going to be the best mother," King gushed.

Currently, filming on Hart of Dixie is in hiatus, but when season four begins filming, King feels confident that the production crew will be able to successfully work around Bilson's baby bump. After all, they recently had to do just that with King's own baby bump.
