Bethenny Frankel is losing fans -- at least according to the disappointing turnout at a recent event.

On Thursday, Frankel attended an appearance at BookExpo America, a book-and-author event, at Manhattan’s Javits Center to sign posters to promote her kids book, “Cookie Meets Peanut.” Unfortunately, the fan turnout wasn't what she expected.

“At 2:15 p.m., there were four people in line for Bethenny," an eyewitness revealed to Page Six. "Representatives for her publisher were sent out around the expo to recruit people to come to her stand. Through sheer hard work they managed to get some people over. After blaming others for the poor turnout, Bethenny left the show early.”

During the event, which took place just one day after the former Real Housewives of New York City star took the stand in her divorce trial, calling her estranged husband "white trash," Frankel was scheduled to be at her designated stand between the hours of 2 and 3 p.m. However, because of the lack of fans, Frankel left the event by 2:40 p.m.

“She left. There really weren’t that many people who showed up," the source stated. "I don’t think she stayed past 2:30.”

A second source, close to Frankel, insisted there were 100 people at her stand and that she left around 2:45 p.m.

According to the report, "Cookie Meets Peanut" is inspired by Frankel's own life and tells a story of two siblings, "a new baby and one diva dog.” The book is due out in September.
