Sharon Osbourne is opening up about her lap-band surgery.

Fifteen years ago, Osbourne underwent lap-band surgery to help her lose weight, and now, she's feeling guilty about it.

"I felt like such a cheat when I had that band on my stomach," Osbourne revealed to Entertainment Tonight, via Life & Style. "It makes you vomit the whole time. Nothing goes down because it goes out."

After having the procedure done in 1999, Osbourne lost a whopping 100 pounds. Years later, in 2006, she opted to have the band removed and eventually gained back nearly half of what she lost. Although the lap-band procedure was certainly affective for Osbourne at the time she had it done, she now wishes she had taken on a healthier approach to weight loss.

In Sept. 2013, after gaining 45 pounds, Osbourne began using the Atkins diet and, so far, has lost 28 pounds by adhering to their plan. Shortly after trying out the carb-free diet, Osbourne was named as the face of Atkins.

While Osbourne has had plenty of success with Atkins in the last few months, she admitted to Entertainment Tonight that it isn't always easy staying carb-free.

"I'd be fibbing if I said I don't cheat because I do cheat," Osbourne said. "I cheat a lot on my diet. We all do, but I don't guilt myself out because the next day I'll start with my Atkins breakfast sandwich and I'm right back on it."

Despite her weight ups and downs, Osbourne said she's focused on maintaining a healthy weight and plans to enjoy life for years to come.
