Sarah Hyland: Red Carpet Meltdown

Sarah Hyland was allegedly caught channeling her Modern Family character's inner-diva on the 2014 Emmy Awards red carpet on Monday night.

The 23-year-old reportedly got into an argument with her stylist after complaining that her shoes were too high, Life & Style reported on Aug. 25. Hyland was said to have got down in the middle of the ceremony to take off her white pumps.

During the evening, Hyland tweeted a photo of her shoeless feet.

Whether on her feet or off, they were actually quite fabulous.

In fact, Hyland's attire was entirely amazing. The star arrived in a floor-length coral skirt designed by Christian Siriano, pair with a white crop top, as seen on E!'s red carpet coverage.

The gown was a perfect marriage of trendy and sophisticated. Not too much skin, but enough for a girl of her young age, accompanied by makeup and a lovely array of jewels. To top off the outfit was her simple hair 'do, an elegant ballerina bun on top of her head.

Hyland took to Twitter before arriving on Aug. 25, telling her followers she couldn't fit into her own car with her awards gown on.

"I'm taking an uber SUV to the #Emmys because my car was too small for my dress," she said.

Good thing she took the Uber, because her outfit was too good to miss.

Hyland's red carpet mood must have heightened as the awards show continued, especially after Modern Family took home the Emmy for best comedy series for the fifth time in a row.
