Taylor Armstrong Speaks Of Late Husband During Wedding Speech

Over three years after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star's death, Russell's father, Louis, is requesting photos and videos of his body be released to him. His reasoning? He suspects his son, who was the husband of Taylor Armstrong, may have been murdered.

Louis "petitioned the L.A. County Coroner to release all photos and video of his son's body," reported the Courthouse News Service on Sept. 3.

On Aug. 15, 2011, Russell was found hanging from a wooden beam with an extension cord around his neck at the Beverly Hills home he was sharing with a roommate. At the time, the coroner's report claimed there were "no signs of foul play" and that Russell had "a medical history of depression due to financial and relationship problems."

Months prior to his suicide, Russell's wife, Taylor, filed for divorce, alleging he abused her, both verbally and physically throughout their marriage.

"Petitioner believes, based on a series of suspicious circumstances surrounding his son's death, that the cause of his son's death was actually murder or an otherwise wrongful termination of his son's life at the hands of another," the petition read.

Louis would like to obtain the photos and video for a possible wrongful death action, and claims Taylor has refused to help him in his efforts.

In 2012, Russell's sister, Laurie Kelso, spoke to Dr. Drew, revealing she, too, believed Russell's death was not the result of a suicide. Her interview can be seen below:
