Maci Bookout explained why Farrah Abraham won't be a part of Teen Mom season five on Monday night's Ask The Moms.

'Teen Mom' Cast Will Return For Fifth Season In 2015

Earlier this year, it was announced the Teen Mom stars, including Bookout, Catelynn Lowell and Amber Portwood, would be returning to MTV for a fifth season next year. Left out of the announcement was Abraham. Although MTV didn't explain why she was fired, Bookout gave fans new details during a recent Teen Mom special.

"After we stopped filming Teen Mom we all went our own directions… Kind of started our lives without cameras and Farrah made some choices that didn’t really match with what the show is about," Bookout said on Ask The Moms, according to an Oct. 7 report by Starcasm. "If one of us is not making decisions that go with our message then it kinda takes away from what we’re trying to do in the first place. It wasn’t our choice to not have her on the show with us but… We wish her the best."

'Teen Mom' Maci Bookout FIlmed Her Own MTV Show -- But They Didn't Want It

After filming wrapped on Teen Mom season four in 2012, Abraham went on to star in a sex tape, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom. From there, Abraham embarked on several other adult-themed projects, including a line of sex toys and an erotic novel.

Meanwhile, her co-stars continued on with their education and career goals.

Bookout's comments about Abraham come nearly two years after her former co-star slammed her online for being attention hungry.

In Dec. 2012, Abraham shared a link to an article about Bookout and her son's father, Ryan Edwards. Along with the link, Abraham reportedly claimed Bookout was "attention seeking, insecure, and desperate!"
